Atmospheric and Cloud Physics

Atmospheric and Cloud Physics research is carried out by several faculty members
and graduate students within the Earth and Space Sciences Department
at the University of Washington.
Research work includes
the study of aerosol properties, aerosol-cloud interactions, cloud electrification
and lightning characteristics, ice physics, planetary atmospheres and the role
of snow and clouds in climate.
